Request for Reconsideration of Library Programs

Sylvan Lake Municipal Library is committed to offering inclusive, community-responsive programs that support our Plan of Service and reflect the values of intellectual freedom, access, and diversity. In line with the Canadian Federation of Library Associations’ Statement on Intellectual Freedom, we believe everyone has the right to explore a broad range of ideas and opinions.

Programs may be delivered by staff or approved presenters, and while community proposals are welcome, the Library retains discretion over programming choices. We may also collaborate with other organizations to enhance community impact.

If you have concerns about a specific program, you may submit a formal Request for Reconsideration. All requests will be reviewed respectfully and transparently.
