About the Event
Embrace the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math at the Library with fun projects and challenges. Join us Thursdays after school with friends old and new!
Who: This program is intended for ages 8-12. Siblings are welcome to attend; children under 8 must have a parent with them at all times for supervision and assistance.
What: Discover science experiments, enjoy engineering challenges, explore coding and mechanical technology, solve math riddles to break codes, and more! No registration required.
When: Thursdays during the school year, 4:00-5:00 p.m. There will be no program on October 22nd, October 29th, December 24th, and December 31st.
Where: Sylvan Lake Municipal Library program room
Why: Introducing children to S.T.E.M. helps them to discover real-world applications, spark their creativity, and develop 21st-century skills including media and technology literacy, productivity, social skills, communication, flexibility, and initiative. Plus - it's just fun!
