About the Event
We are launching a new book club this fall: Banned Book Club.
Banned Book Club exists to bring awareness and education to banned and challenged books. We will have open and civil discussion about these books that are controversial. Participants can agree, disagree, but they get to read the book and find out!
Our target audience is 16+, and like all of our adult programs, we encourage parents to engage with their kids that are interested and attend this book club with them.
Join us at Party Chef on October 29th at 6:30 p.m. as we discuss The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf, Prince and Knight by Daniel Haack, and And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell. Choose one to read, or read them all for a complete perspective and discussion.
Read your own copies, or borrow them from the Library - we've brought in extras!
